About Me

Linda has been designing beautiful quilts for more than thirteen years. Sewing all her life, Linda has embraced the nuances of the art of quilting. Her unique ability to teach her art has allowed her to share her passion for quilting with beginners.

Linda came to quilting by a rather unique route. Educated as an engineer (she graduated from Northeastern University with a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering), she spent the first part of her career working in the corporate world. That experience has served her well as she is now very skilled at seeing designs in her creative mind and translating her vision into eye-catching results. Once she gets inspired, she makes a quick sketch, selects fabric and she's off and running.

She was recently awarded a blue ribbon for her version of Valerie Wells "New York Beauty". Not only is Linda a skilled artisan, she also teaches quilting at the Holliston Senior Center and is editor and producer of a Holliston Cable Access Television Show, "A Quilter's Touch". Her television show is now available streaming online at www.hcattv.org. She has been a member of the Thimble Pleasure Guild since January 2006.

Take a look at Linda's gallery. Contact her if you'd like to learn more about quilting or if you are interested in speaking with her about a special quilting project. Linda specializes in confetti collage quilts and memory quilts.
